Auraya Systems receives and stores any information entered on the website or given to us in any other way, including your ‘personal information’ that identifies you such as first name, last name, company name, email address and messages to the company.

 

How we use your information

Auraya uses information gathered from you for general purposes such as communicating with you, responding to technology support requests, providing information requested about software, services and company and responding to other questions and concerns. We may also use your information to reach out to you for software demonstrations and upgrades, feedback related to company, product and services and share marketing and promotional information. Please note that you can write to us and inform us if you don’t wish to receive any information/ communication from us by sending an email to info@aurayasystems.com.

 

How we share your information

Auraya has a network of partner organizations that Auraya collaborates with to offer voice biometrics as a solution. An updated list of partner organizations can be found on the website.  Sometimes, we share your personal details with our partner organization to communicate jointly about our product and services, organize meetings and initiate discussions, submit a joint proposal, request for price and information and share marketing and promotional information about our joint solution, products and services. Please note that we do not have control over the privacy practices of our business partners, and we would encourage you to read and understand their practice separately.

We may also share your information for legal processes including and not limited to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process; to establish or exercise our legal rights; to defend against legal claims; or as otherwise required by law. In such cases we reserve the right to raise or waive any legal objection or right available to us. We may use your personal information when it is appropriate to investigate, prevent, or act regarding illegal or suspected illegal activities, to protect and defend the rights, property, or safety of our company or this website, our customers and partners; and in connection with Auraya’s standard legal agreements. We may also share your personal information during a corporate transaction such as capital raising initiatives, mergers and acquisition. Please be advised that you will notified when your personal information has been shared for legal purposes and during corporate transactions, you will have an opportunity to choose not to have us share such information.

 

Your biometric information

Auraya may collect your voice biometric information for technology demonstrations along with your personal information such as mobile number, name, address and other contact details from time to time. This information will be used by Auraya for technology demonstration and research and development purposes only.

Auraya stores your speech and voice as a ‘.wav’ file along with your personal identifiers and the summary characteristics of the voice as a voice print. With each verification attempt by any user, the technology runs the summary characteristics of the received voice ‘a new voice print’ against your voice print and a whole database of collected voice prints to verify or identify a speaker’s identity.

By participating in a technology demonstration, you automatically consent to providing your voice biometric information to Auraya. Auraya may use your biometric information to analyse your voice data as part of a larger data sample and may use it to improve the core technology that Auraya provides. Auraya doesn’t share your biometric information with third parties, and if required to do so for a specific project, will not share your biometric information without your formal consent.

In the event that your biometric information is stolen, hacked or misused in any manner and Auraya becomes aware of such an event, we will notify you of your privacy breach within 72 hours by contacting you on your personal information provided. You have the right to refuse use of your biometric information for research purposes - please contact the Auraya team on info@aurayasystems.com to register your concerns and questions and the team will get in touch with you as soon as possible.

 

How you can access your personal information

You can access and update your contact information by contacting us on info@aurayasystems.com and a team member will be in touch with next steps. Auraya may have to retain your information on files, even if you are not a current customer/ partner or aren’t conducting business with us in any manner for record keeping purpose.

 

Children's privacy

Auraya’s technology and services are not directed to children and hence we do not market to or accept communication from children or use their personal information for purposes listed in this document. Should someone under 13 send personal information to us, we will respond to the child to request for parental permission and not use the personal information for any other purpose listed on this document.

 

Auraya complies with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) as set by the European Union

Auraya complies with GDPR and provides citizens and residents of the European Union access over how their personal information is used, shared or collected. Any queries, questions and concerns should be brought to the notice of the Auraya team by contacting them on info@aurayasystems.com. If there should be any data breaches that have adverse effect on user privacy, Auraya will notify you within 72 hours of a breach.
